Mobile Notary Charleston
About Us
We are Charleston’s premier mobile notary service. Since 1982, we have married over 10,000 couples and notarized countless documents for people throughout the Lowcountry.
Our experience and knowledge add value to our mobile notary services by ensuring your documents are legally and accurately executed. Notaries in SC may administer oaths and officiate depositions. We are available to attend safe deposit box drillings at financial institutions.
We are gentle and respectful of nursing home residents. When booking the appointment, we may ask if the resident is oriented to date, time and place. We will also ascertain that the resident has picture ID in their possession.
When notarizing a Last Will and Testament, there must be two witnesses who DO NOT profit by the will who must sign and give their home addresses. Nursing home or hospital staff generally will not do this. We do not furnish witnesses.
Mobile Notary Charleston provides prompt and reliable services available in these and other South Carolina cities, including Edisto, Avondale, West Ashley, Summerville, Park Circle, Mount Pleasant, Moncks Corner, Cottageville and Awendaw. Our service radius ranges approximately 40 miles from downtown Charleston. Customers may instead visit our home office address, which is available by request.
Medical Documentation
Our notaries go to nursing homes, hospitals, and private homes to execute documents such as general, durable or health care powers of attorney; wills; do not resuscitate orders; and right to a natural death.
Wedding Ceremonies
We also perform wedding ceremonies via our sister company Mobile Marriage. All you need is a marriage license from any county in South Carolina, and an appointment with us. If you wish to have your marriage ceremony performed by a notary, visit our sister website at https://www.mobilemarriage.com.
for details.
Bill of Sale
Our mobile notaries do not create the documents for you. Instead, we are bearing witness that we saw the named person sign documents in our presence. As such, there is no need for our notaries to attest to the truthfulness of the document.
Apostille Notary
Need notarized documents for a foreign country? Our mobile notaries are certified by the South Carolina Secretary of State to apostille, or notarize documents bound for any country which is a member of the Hague Convention.
